Parish Fellowship Commission

Eric and Margaret Cavin, Commission Heads

Special Events Committee plans and implements events at St. Mark’s such as Rally Day, Fish Fry and Talent Show, BBQ and Bingo and other parish family inter-generational events, and adult socials. Volunteers are welcome to be a part of this committee.

Marksmen are men in the parish and community who get together on the second Tuesday of each month in Leatherbury Hall. Breakfast is provided and a speaker presents a brief program. Parishioners are needed to recommend good speakers, disseminate information, and assist with preparing the breakfast.

Summer Sunday Breakfasts, served at 9 a.m. in Leatherbury Hall during the summer months, are a time for good food and fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to join with other parishioners to help plan and prepare breakfast for our parish family. Staff assistance is available.

Wednesday Breakfasts are prepared by parishioners and served in Leatherbury Hall after the 7 a.m. Eucharist in the Chapel. Volunteer cooks are welcomed.

Dinner Clubs offer the opportunity for parishioners to get to know each other better in a social setting. Groups, made up of eight people, meet for a meal once a month for four months. New groups are formed every four months. Volunteers are needed to coordinate this new program.

Telephone Hostesses answer the phone and welcome visitors at the front desk.

Parish Support are parishioners who are available on request to help with mailings, typing, office work and general daily assistance.
